Hello AFF.

Stumbled across this forum a little while ago, so thought I better introduce myself. So far I have been very impressed with the knowledge and expertise from members on the forum.

Reasonable frequent traveller for work pretty much all domestic and mostly transcontinental.

Virgin Platinum (BIS) and will hit QF gold on my next flight. Got the double status credit offer so by the end of the offer period I will do enough to get to platinum by the end of the offer period.

I fly mainly Y for work, and made myself a new years resolution that I would stop burning points on upgrade to keep them purely for leisure travel with my significant other who I spend too much time apart from due to work. So far I have kept to the promise but a couple of times have almost cracked.

Amyway look forward to contributing where I can.

Thanks JohnK, TonyHancock and Juddles for the welcome.

I weakened on my resolution this morning and upgraded my return flight later this week - that damn transcontinental J is like a drug!
