Hi all,

Love reading this site, and love the knowledge shown by people here! My husband and I travel to UK twice a year, and use Singapore Ailrines cos we love their onflight service. We've standardised on them and have the Westpac Platinum Singapore Airlines cards and are building krisflyer AND elite points. Its a slow process. Any hints are always appreciated!

Thanks for everything and I'll try to add to the wisdom :)

Welcome to AFF bhazelbrown,

I've not joined Krisflyer as yet, but I think the word here is that its pretty hard to accrue points via Westpac now that they've reduced earning to 0.5:1 (across all their cards?? Not sure)

Maybe there are better earning options over at Amex?

Hi bhazelbrown,

Welcome to AFF.

Thanks for the info, the AMEX on the Wpac platinum still give 1.5 points I think for sales inside Aus. It's quite confusing, different rates inside and outside Aus etc. We don't have any lucrative bills to put through the account, but every little bit helps.
