Hi to all at AFF.

I have stumbled across what appears to be one of the best forums on the net and I am seriously regretting not having come across it earlier.
I have already learned so much (so thank you all), and I am positive that there is so much more to learn about the FF program from the knowledgeable posters here.

Unfortunately, I am not a business traveler, nor am I a frequent traveler like some of the forum members here. What I do like to do is collect QFF points and try to take some annual holidays, to some place nice.

Thanks again to all the posters for the information contained within.

Warm Regards,
Love2travel

Me neither, but you'll find you fit in here anyway; everyone has something different to offer. Welcome!

Hi welcome,

Nice username.........

Thanks so much and right back at ya! ;)

Enjoy the forum - great to have you here

Thank you so much! :D

Enjoy, learn & share....welcome.

Thank you and I certainly hope to learn and share. :)

Thanks for the reassurance balackcat20, it's much appreciated!

Thanks again everyone for the warm welcome. I have already advised my partner that I will be paying his BAS and taxes on my credit card. Unfortunately, he doesn't get it - he thinks I'm mad for willingly paying a surcharge. I'm not worried though, I will be having the last laugh when we are both boarding a long-haul flight together (say to LAX) and he turns right, and I'm turning left:cool:

I can see a wicked streak in your post Love2travel. Just reading the ATO thread will make you realise just how weird we can get.

I just forgot...welcome to AFF.
Our sons now ask when we are going to be home rather than vice versa.
They now work and we play!

Hi Love2travel,

Welcome to AFF. :D

Hi to all at AFF.

Unfortunately, I am not a business traveler, nor am I a frequent traveler like some of the forum members here.

Neither am I, nor do I have high business spend to work the "system" as some can do with business spend (and good luck to those that can)....but I rarely pay for International flights despite travelling up to twice a year with a family of five at the pointy end.

Seek and ye shall find.

Welcome to the Points Running Club.

What I do like to do is collect QFF points and try to take some annual holidays, to some place nice.

TIP: Think beyond QFF and you more than likely will be able to travel more often, or at least in more comfort.

TIP: Indeed, think Alliance, and not just Airline!!!!

TIP: Most of what you need to know to achieve superior "earn and "burn" is often the forum if you read enough old posts...and IF you apply it when opportunity arises.

TIP: There is not one right way to be a Points Runner. Optimise for your own circumstances.

Good on you Cove, it goes to show that working hard does pay off in the end! :)

Hi Love2travel,

Welcome to AFF. :D

Thanks :)

Indeed.............

....and welcome.

What can I say, we all have such great taste in usernames, and looks like hobbies too!

Thanks for the food for thought. I'm slowly working my way through the posts and getting my head around things. I wish I had stumbled across this site prior to booking my most recent upcoming holiday though. Thanks again! :)

Welcome to AFF Love2travel!

Thanks JohnK :)
