My first post...
I fly about once a week domestically, usually with Qantas (last year was mainly with Virgin) I have to say that I have been very impressed with the onboard service I have received. Although I am usually at the back of the plane it seems that Qantas are really making an effort to improve the quality of their service. The flight attendants seem very happy and to be enjoying their work. On a recent flight to Brisbane for a family holiday my children were even invited up to the coughpit (after all the other passengers had exited) and were able to sit in the Captains chair. The Co-Pilot talked my son through handling the tiller and even set off the on board fire alarm. We were able to take pictures and it is a great memory for us.
I am about to fly to LAX in 2 weeks and hopefully the service on the international product is just as good - although they have moved my seating assignment to the middle PE seat even though I booked the aisle - still not the fault of the cabin crew.
You can read a lot of bad reviews about Qantas on the discussion boards - just thought I would write something positive.
