Hello from Melbourne

Hi all,

I am only new to the FF game having spent most of my reward points on cashbacks or giftcards previously.

Started probably 4 months ago due to the AMEX promo and have so far amassed 270,000 points with Virgin and 100,000 with Qantas.

Trying to learn a lot from this group and my plan is to transfer the Virgin points to Krisflyer to get a J class trip somewhere with my wife. I'm amazed that there is available right now for a flight to Singapore tomorrow! Would have through redemptions would have been needed months in advance!
