Hi all
Jumped straight into the deep end on this site a few months ago and began posting furiously. Then, just found this thread, so thought I should say hello....
Anyway, here is me in an (almost) single paragraph:
I have loved flying since I first watched my Dad take off with Qantas every month when I was little. Flying was such an occasion back then, we'd all get dressed up just to go to the airport to see him off! Took my first flight around 22 in a 747 and could not contain myself when those engines screamed down the runway! Have my own family now and fly as often as we all can. Mostly to America, but trying for a few new destinations soon. Flew Business Class for the first time last week and I could definitely get used to it. Really appreciate the expertise on this forum and apologise in advance for my silly comments now and then. And finally, I call myself clipped wings because I got sick of trying for every other name when registering. Figured my wings were clipped and hey presto..............
Fly with Virgin Australia and will probably do so until they give me reason not to.
Still haven't lost that awe and wonder when those engines scream down the runway.
