Hi . I am a FF newbie but hope to do a bit more travelling over the coming years for leisure. I have tried to take up as many QFF and Velocity offers as I can handle recently and am keen to learn tips from this forum.

Welcome to AFF fortstreetboy!

Thanks so much guys - in case anyone is interested I recently took up 3 credit cards - the Citibank Signature Visa, ANZ Rewards and the BankWest in addition to my own banks CBA Dimaond Black cards. Hoping it can help push me along a little. I am aiming to score a free ticket to Asia PE via both QF and VA sometime... do you think it is possible as a Bronze member. my wife is a Platinum QFF and has recently requested J upgrades on a number of flights ....

Welcome fortstreetboy. You shouldn't have problems booking Classic awards as a NB (if you can find flights). The upgrades are best left to your WP wife though, as she is higher in the pecking order than you, which gives her a much better chance of success (referring to QF).

Welcome aboard FSB

Do you mind me asking the reason behind your name. I can see you are from Sydney, so are you a Fortian?

If so, my sister was in the 1989 class I think, and I also know a few people from 1993 and 1997 class.
