Hello everybody on AFF - long time flyer but only recently realised that I really should be doing more research into all the loyalty / reward / miles programs that I am a member of and maximise them instead of just plodding along and doing the most straightforward thing. And with that little bit more research, found myself here!
Have started reading and have already learnt a lot - and will continue reading and learning!
Currently am flying at least once a year on SIA to Singapore, multiple interstate flights on anything that is cheapest (other than Tiger), using ANZ rewards credit card (just the basic rewards), and never paid attention to hotel loyalty programs, opting instead for airbnb or whatever is most affordable. Have always thought that first class and business class was for the enviable lot of the rich, but it seems that it is achievable through points? O teach me, wise ones.
