I have a booking (using AA miles), for travel from Sydney to Madrid, via Hong Kong. (QF and CX).
The HKG to MAD segment was changed from an original HKG-ZRH-MAD.

I note that the ticket number was changed following this flight change.

When I go to checkmytrip, it shows SYD-HKG-MAD, which is all OK, but the document ID displays HongKong-Madrid, NOT Sydney-Madrid as I would expect.

So, being concerned, I tried to see the booking on the Qatar (not Qantas) website, which shows the booking correctly. BUT, when I click on print e-ticket, it would show Hong Kong- Madrid, instead of Sydney- Madrid.

Not satisfied with that, I then tried viewing the Finnair website, and that showed both the old ticket number and the new ticket number!

Can anyone please explain what is going on???

What should I do? Who should I contact? AA? Qantas?

Contact AA. Get them to make sure the booking is ok. If you want to double check, ring QF and ask them if they have a vlid ticket number against their part of the booking (SYD-HKG)
