Hi all

Have just found out that my employer is sending me on a RTW odyssey to attend a number of different events and meet with clients. I have never flown J class internationally before so would appreciate your help in choosing the best J class for the long haul flights. It looks like it will be a *A J Class RTW ticket at this stage, mostly because there will be a bit of internal flying in Canada which will need to be on AC.

For the following flights, which airline should I be choosing to get the best J class?? Seat comfort/the ability to sleep is going to be fairly important to me.

SYD to LHR or ZRH- TG via BKK or OZ via ICN (would have loved SQ but they charge a hefty surcharge on the RTW ticket price)
ZRH or LHR to IAD- LX or UA
YVR to SYD- NZ via AKL, UA via SFO or AC direct

Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Particularly things like if there are any aircraft types to avoid for particular airlines etc

We've been attempting to rank *A airlines in order over of how much we would like to fly J on them in the USDM thread.

The general consensus or your airlines seems to be:

LX
OZ
NZ
TG
AC
UA

I'd put AC above TG.. but then a flat bed is the most important thing to me!!

Caution too... OZ only belongs in 2 if it is Quadra Smartium...
