This might be in the wrong section, but I'm looking for a credit card that is ATO compliant as GST invoices (I think only business credit cards do this). Current expenditure is ~$15-20k per month.

I would prefer a non-amex card, but it looks like it would have the greatest flexibility. Any help would be appreciated

What portion of your expenditure is non-ATO? Also, where would you like your points to go? Qantas, Virgin, Singapore?
And, if you don't mind me asking, what's your taxable income?

All of it is non-ATO. I would prefer points to airlines, but understand if it can't be QFF.

Taxable income $100k+. This card will be for my parent's business - they don't want to apply for a card, so I will do it and they will be sups on it so i can use the points (they don't care about the points).

I would be looking at the Citibank Select if your taxable income is $120K+ for a 1.33ppd Visa (when going to VA or KF). Alternatively, on a lesser income, the Citibank Signature for 1ppd (VA/KF) or Woolworths EDR Qantas/Bankwest Qantas Platinum/Macquarie Visa Platinum for 1ppd to QF.
On the Amex front, Westpac Altitude Black' 1.5ppd Amex (and 0.625ppd MC) is best for VA/KF/AM/MH else any of the top-end Amex + Visa/MC bundles from any of the Big 4 for 1.5ppd to QF on Amex.
A possible option as well is the Amex Business Accelerator credit card. 2ppd on most spend (excludes insurance, utilities, government etc.) but capped at $50,000 spend. You get bonus points for being referred and you can PM me for one if interested.

Hope that helps :)

Just a follow-up. The Citibank cards don't pay any points on ATO spend so that's a possible consideration for the future. If the business isn't already paying taxes on a credit card you can be the pioneer ;)

IMO best combination is Westpac Altitude Black Amex for ATO spend and anywhere else that takes Amex without a surcharge greater than Visa/MC (or a marginal difference) and the rest on a Citibank Signature/Select--obviously this is for non-QF earn.

Thanks for the suggestions. However, I already the two Singnature cards, but I was really looking for a card that displayed the gst paid on each item on the invoice, but I think only business cards do this.

Oh. I completely missed that part of the request. I guess if that feature is important enough you'd wear the compromised points earn. It is, indeed, something only business credit cards do.
IMO just keep receipts and don't worry about itemisation on the credit card statement and enjoy the increased points earn!
