Ok, so I'm currently on 890SCs with a status renewal date of 30th September, I have a return to Singapore booked in Discount Economy (60SCs) and have 2 trips to Sydney to do. If I book these as JASA's, they'll net me 80 SCs each, so that'll take me to 1110SCs, still 290 short of the target.

I currently have around 140K points in my account, so if I do the 2 SYD JASA's, that'll take me down to around 90K points (with the addition of the points from the SIN trip etc.).

So what are my options? Is it worth using up some/all of the points to get to WP? If so, what is the best way to do it? I've seen mention of MEL-HBA-SYD-CBR, is that still a good option?

Thanks in advance,

James.

The HBA-SYD-CBR will net you 100sc each way for around 24,000 points (from memory).

Will you get the travel in the next 12 months to use WP benefits?

Just had a look on the QF website and looks like the MEL-HBA-SYD-CBR nets 280sc in J for the return for 64k points + $300, which doesn't seem like a bad deal.

All of my 890sc this year have been in economy, I don't think I'll be travelling any less next year, so it would be nice to get the WP benefits.

You can't do the return trip in one day (it's actually quite hard to do it one-way in one day, as there are so few flights to/from HBA), so don't forget to factor in the cost of hotels.

Try ADL TSV return for 48k and 240 sc.

Sent from my LG-P500 using AustFreqFly App

Thanks for the suggestions. Booked myself a JASA from MEL-ADL-BNE-TVL and return at the end of August. All set for WP :)
