Hertz Fleet: what might you get!

Hi guys!

could i get comments on what cars are currently in hertz

1) Full size
2) premium fleet

and if their Prestige cars come loaded or not (nav? )
3) bmw 118,320,x3,x5

in locations such as sydney, gold coast, mel?

2) premium fleet (assuming your meaning Premium Full Size) Holden Commodore SV6, Toyota Aurion ZR6, VW Passat

and if their Prestige cars come loaded or not (nav? )
3) bmw 118,320,x3,x5 No guarantee, some do others don't. X3/X5 more likely. Expect more to be available once over the next few weeks, they are taking on more to replace the original batch which have gone back to the dealers.

I couldn't respond before to your PM since you weren't a member then. I've tried to answer your question above the best I can, baring in mind I'm simply the charming chap at Brisbane Airport so the fleet may slightly different elsewhere.

Get the Camry or Altima in the full size the others are rubbish
VW Passat is beautiful





Any news on the new Xtrails yet ? Most of the ones in the fleet are coming up to 12 months old

Any one know if i am in sydney and my dad is coming down to Melbourne, Could i rent the car in my account and pay for it (using the card in my gold account) and have him pick up the car and use it. Even if i am not physically there?

No, as he would need your drivers licence and his photo on it :shock:. You could create a gold profile with his details and your card number etc.

Depends on the location.If its corporate I find you receive a more than the next class upgrade.Otherwise if its an independant licensed location usually next class.

Expect a one class upgrade IF you are lucky to max of a Full Size (Camry)

Yet time and time again friends who rarely rent get better upgrades than me, IE Book Corolla get a BMW

As long as its been booked under your President Circle number staff will have the booking done up before your scheduled arrival and will gain at least a one class upgrade as large as the full size cars (Camry, Mondeo size).

When you say a Corolla, are you talking about the hatchback or the sedan? The sedan would gain an upgrade to the full size class, the hatch is a class below the sedan.

An upgrade from the hatch to a sedan would be very POOR!

But then again there is $750ish of RRP difference..........

Yes, the new 3series we have taken on in Brisbane are the (opinion start) better spec* (opinion end) 316i models, then our now phasing out original batch 320Is.
