Hertz is proud to announce the launch of Hertz 24/7 on the Gold Coast.

Mayor Tom Tate launched the new hourly car rental service in Broadbeach on Sept. 18th, driving a convertible Mini Cooper around town loaded-up with local news crews filming their evening segments.

Gold Coast locals and visitors can now drive by the hour from $10hr all-inclusive (even the fuel!) with Hertz 24/7 and Gold Coast Council partnering to provide 12 cars pre-parked in convenient on-street locations in Surfers Paradise, Broadbeach, Burleigh Heads and Southport.

Hertz 24/7 provides members with ‘self-service’ booking, collection and return of cars for as little as one hour right up to three days,

ideal for people who want to drive occasionally or who need a second car from time to time. Rates are all-inclusive: damage cover, kms and fuel are all included in the low hourly/daily rates. Who wouldn’t want to drive a convertible on the Gold Coast for $15hr?

I wonder if you can rent one in Surfers and return it to BNE/OOL airport using this new service.

Sounds like a BNE city push bike ideal just expanded.

I used go-get in MEL when I needed a car at hourly rates, till I discovered once you have it for 2 or more hours an AVis day rate is lower. These hertz rates look decent though - sadly I have access to more than enough cars in and around the gold coast though. Would like to see this as stated above - pickup near hotel, drop off at airport.

247 also operates in Sydney, you wont see them at airports because the model wont handle airport parking charges, at $10 an hour or $65 a day INCLUDING Fuel, its competitive.
