I know, this isn't Australian Frequent Driver, but I'm going to throw these questions out there.

I've always rented from Avis domestically (and usually rental cars dot com overseas), until now, as this is our first year with Amex Platinum Charge and its associated benefits (Hertz Gold Plus).

Adelaide Question
1) Any idea what cars Adelaide Hertz has in Premium Category? Would this be eligible for the one class upgrade to a luxury?

Europe Questions
1) Any recent experience with one-way rentals and/or Hertz Transfer Desk in Europe with Hertz? I'm hoping to get a nice car needing to be relocated by the Hertz Transfer Desk, but I've got my backup one-way reservation in case nothing is available or its too hard at the time for Hertz, I've heard some stories..... Our rate is $869 Euro for 8 days, including drop fee. Not the best deal, but I saw a lot worse. This is a Group F (Mid Size SUV)

2) Has anyone found that Amex travel is the best deal for a Hertz rental (doing Rome to Paris). I tried pricing some on my own, and could never get the system to cooperate and it always said to contact hertz.
