I returned a Hertz vehicle to Melbourne Downtown yesterday and received the usual Hertz survey e-mail today. Haven't rented from Hertz in a while (since Sep 2012) and I have to admit, I only usually complete the survey if I have something to complain about! On this occasion it wasn't a great rental experience (received a high mileage car with an engine rattle, tried to overcharge, took far too long to fix), so I thought I'd complete the survey while on the tram on my way home from work.
My memory of the survey was a only a few basic questions, which would not cover my situation, and an opportunity to comment. To my surprise, the survey is now much more comprehensive and actually included tick boxes for all the issues I had! It even asked very specific questions about the car and what my favourite car is! Very impressive! I hope they take note of my comments regarding my favourite car (SV6) which I didn't get (received an XR6, which I also like) and which I was advised there aren't too many of in the fleet now.
