Hertz - Which VS CDP to use?

Hi all,

To credit VS miles with a Hertz booking, the Hertz site by default uses the USA VS CDP No. I changed this to the UK VS CDP No. Does anyone know if this is correct for Hertz AU and/or which CDP No. do you use?

You don't need to use the CDP to get the credit, I use the VA CDP which gives ten percent off and always ask at the counter if my VS FF details are in the RA, which until I complained to HO often were not.

Now thats a nice tip as the VS CDP was actually a few dollars more than BAR.

So this Hertz spiel is more just a suggestion?

How to Book

• Enter the Virgin Atlantic Flying Club Customer Discount Programme (CDP) for UK/Europe: 708870 or USA: 1040618,
• Enter your Virgin Atlantic Flying Club membership number in the booking process
• Show your Flying Club membership card on collection of the car.
• Alternatively call Hertz UK on 08708 44 88 44 or Hertz USA 800-654-3131

I have never used the VS CDP and credit to VS no issues, although recent experience is limited to one rental last year.
