We had business in Hervey Bay this weekend so stayed overnight Friday. For dinner we went to The Vineyard on the Esplanade not far from the Urangan Pier.Great friendly service and the food was just wonderful. We started off by sharing the duck pancakes.
.
They were very good but the mains were fantastic.Mrsdrron had the bugs.Simply but perfectly cooked.Obviously fresh and probably the largest bugs she has eaten.I had the lamb rump served on a pea and mint base with potato roesti, confit garlic and anchovy butter. The lamb was so tender and tasty.also perfectly cooked.good presentation and all the flavours on the plate combined well.

Too full for sweets.
Washed down with a bottle of Limestone Coast Pinot Gris.
Cost $150.Yes expensive for Hervey bay but great value for what you get.
