Today my Account Overview shows "Current Status Diamond" with the following text under the progress bar (which shows no stay/night from January 2016)

Based on nights earned this year, your 2017 tier would be Blue.
To maintain Diamond status in 2017, you need 60 more nights.

As I did not stay enough during calender 2015, I don't think I will re-qualify for Diamond after 1 April 2016, I am not sure what this really indicates?

Has anyone been in this similar situation before?

Sorry a bit confused, are you saying that you did not qualify as Diamond in 2015 (which takes you through to Dec 2016). And what is the significance of 1 April (as I understand it the qualification is based on a calendar year not anniversary of joining)
