HHonour points expiring

Hello

My points are expiring at the end of the year (tomorrow).

Can someone suggest what i can do to keep them?

how I can transfer them out to another frequent flyer account?

Buy the minimum amount of points!

Members who do not have eligible activity as defined in a. - d. below in any 12 consecutive month period may be removed from the Program and are subject to forfeiture of all accumulated points. At the discretion of Hilton HHonors Worldwide, such Members may be permitted to remain in the Program and removed after five years of inactivity. To keep accumulated HHonors Points, the Member must take one of the following actions within a 12 consecutive month period:

1. 1. a. stay at a hotel within the Hilton Worldwide portfolio pursuant to the terms herein;
      b. earn HHonors Points through any third party source of HHonors Point accumulation, including a Hilton co-branded credit card, pursuant to its terms;
      c. purchase HHonors Points; or,
      d. donate points through The Hilton HHonors Giving Back Program.

Unfortunately not at a hilton in the last 12mth. Credit Cards points go to other frequent flyers account.

How many points do you have?

If you're not able to remain active in the program, and you're going to forfeit the points anyway, you should consider donating them to the giving back program.

I tried this successfully: e-Miles: Earn miles for free and redeem towards your favorite reward program . IIRC, it took a few weeks to earn the 500 minimum points required to transfer though, so time may be against you. I successfully kept my points, and used a bunch to pay for accommodation near Windsor Legoland

There is probably another thread here about it somewhere; pretty sure that's where I learnt about it!

I earned 500 points last week by calling Hilton Brisbane for a reservation enquiry and then was put through to a Hilton Grand Vacations sales person and had to listen to their offer. Points credited immediately.
