I stumbled across this AFF community and thought what a great idea. I'm fairly busy during the day so may not get a chance to check in as often as I would like!
I'm based in Brisbane and generally fly once or twice a year on business internationally and domestically and once a year on holidays domestically (which includes NZ) and then try to have an overseas holiday once every 2 years.
I guess most of you may not consider me much of a frequent flyer, but that's the best I can do while working full time.
Starting to think about a trip for later in the year Sept/Oct to Spain and Portugal. Any pointers gratefully accepted.

Welcome aboard Brissygal, you don't need to be a frequent flyer - there is lots for everyone, and you should discover ways to fly cheaper or in a higher class when you do get to travel.

Welcome aboard Brissygal. My flying pattern was much like yours two years ago and I'd spent my life on the base level for both Qantas and Virgin. In just over 18 months on AFF I'm now climbing the status ladder and having a whole lot more fun planning my travel. So don't assume you have to fly frequently to be an AFFer!

Brissygal welcome to AFF you will find many a thing to do! Enjoy

Welcome aboard, I'm sure you'll enjoy it here.

re your big trip to Spain and Portugal, you must go to San Sebastián in Spain if you're like food. Are you using points to get there? If so, start booking now to avoid disappointment.

Howdy, have fun and is it true Queenslander's still wear stetsons.

Just kidding

Matt
