Hi I'm joining up in order to maximise my Velocity FF membership seeing as my wife is American and we'll be flying to LAX at least once a year. Looking for as many ways to get bonus points as I can and also help others! Also keeping an eye out for qantas bonuses too.

Welcome johnsluk, not a VF fan but u should find lots of information here
Thanks Buzzard..just curious, what is it about VF that you aren't a fan of? The majority of my flying is between MEL-LAX and only want to fly non-stop. It appeared that only Virgin & Qantas flew N/S. Virgin appealed to me more (price/planes/flight times) and the points per dollar were better at the time so joined Velocity. Interested to hear others opinions on it.

The last time I flew VF was years ago when it was essentially a budget airline, not full service like QF. The flight crew even tried to flog you Branson's book.
Whilst I am certain things have changed I never went back instead deciding to stick with QF.
