I have been lurking for a while on this invaluable forum. I have learnt so much in my short time on the forum from the experts out there and have probably spent way too much time procrastinating on here.

I only hold status with VA (SG) (pushing for WP with upcoming Asia trip) but looking to develop some status on A* (now through Asiana due to the 2 year qualifying period and looking for lifetime Diamond or Platinum given my young age and the new horrible A3 changes) and possibly OW through AAdvantage.
I'm fortunate enough to be based out of OOL where I can get excellent value - recently stumbled across DPS - OOL via Melbourne in J on VA for $651 on the return leg netting 140 SCs (4.65 per SC).

Being young I am looking to maximize value and work toward a lifetime membership (wish VA would introduce it).

I am eager to keep reading and continue to learn lots.

I'm afraid to say I have been sucked into the status trap at a young age so it can only go downhill from here - seeing all the elite perks (e.g. QFF WP1s) on here is only adding fuel to the fire.

Banker and WP seem to go hand in hand nicely - I can assure you I am not a W in WP . I am chasing both if anyone can help out!

I am a very quick learner and pushing for WP as over 400SCs will disappear between late April to mid July 2015 with consecutive BNE-PVG and BNE-HKG returns on SQ falling off my statement .

I hope to ask insightful questions and provide informative responses where my knowledge permits.
