Hello everybody,
Wow, what a vibrant community.
I didn't realize that there was such a large community of frequent travelers!
My name is Hoe Bing. All my friends call me HB.
Not really new to the game but not finding that I'm getting tremendous deals out of my travel.
Most recent experience is upgrade to business class on long haul LA-Bris flight. Very costly points wise and depleted some 3+ years of point accumulation.
I am eager to learn how people increase their points other than the usual cc sign ups.
Also thinking about signing up for the American Express Platinum charge card but holy heck the $1200 a year price tag is rather hefty. Someone have a special relationship with them to have it lowered or even waived?
Looking forwards to many happy travels.
