Hi everyone!

Rod here. I've been following AFF for ages but never really created an account until now. I'm excited to join the community.

About (my aviation) me:
  • Based in Sydney.
  • I travel a bit for leisure, around 3 or 4 times per year.
  • I mostly travel One World airlines (QF, QR, LA) and Emirates as long as it is code share with QF.
  • These days I always travel Business Class, unless the domestic legs of a trip don't have it.
  • My favourite planes are mostly wide bodies as they are more comfortable inside:
    • A380: always impressive to see such a massive machine take off and fly. The cabin is very spacious and the lounge/bar some airlines provide is a plus.
    • A350: very spacious cabin as it does not have central overhead bins. Really quiet during take off and flight.
    • 747: it is such an icon!
    • 787: beautiful bird.
  • My favourite single aisle plane is the A220. I have not really flown on it but the exterior design is very attractive.
  • My least favourite plane is the 737, it always looks dated from outside.
Cheers. :)

Hi Rod, welcome aboard!
Make yourself comfortable, drinks will serve in 10 mins, please don’t ask the AFF crew to lift your cabin luggage into the overhead bins :)

Thanks, FrankP!

Haha, nah. I'm not one of those demanding passengers/forum members 🤣
