Dec1971 here, been reading for a while and decided to join up so that I might be able to add something.

I am a regular interstate flyer based in Sydney, plus do the Sydney/London trip a few times a year.

Hi Dec1971, Welcome to AFF forum.
Before I joined,I lurked and read and got intimidated by the trade jargon ( Y,J ,RTW , DONE , etc etc ) , then decided to join.
What I like about the members here, is that no matter how many times a question is asked by some one new here , it will be answered by one of the many learned members.
I certainly have gained not only great information but also have met and made some great friends.

Funny you ask. Having ended up with a wallet full of different FF cards over the years I am now making an effort to stick to DJ for domestic and Thai for the London trips.

I just like the DJ attitude to travel and appreciate the way they have opened up to skys to a lot of people who not long ago couldn't afford the QF fares, and the prices QF once charged for the short interstate trips (poor old Ansett!).

Thai works for us as the points assist in our family trips to Thailand for holidays. Plus their business and first class fares are great.

So in a nutshell, DJ and TG along with their FF programs work for me.
