Hi AFF!

I've found AFF posts from google before and got a lot out of them, and even joined a while back, finally thought I'd say hi (that yellow banner got to me!!).

I don't fly much, but managed to make QF silver last year, and the travel is likely to pick up over the next few years (this year is off to a slow start though), so hopefully I can make the most of it. I've found this site helpful in the past, and am sure I will continue to do so. Thanks to all those who have put the time in to record all that info!

Used points for the first time to book ADL-MEL-HBA in J in a few weeks time, felt good! Now I need more points.... ;) (PS, any comments about ADL/MEL lounges??!)

I might not have much advice to offer, but hope to join in discussion :)

Hi David, and welcome.

The ADL lounge is fairly large, it still has self-serve wine, but of course the bar only opens after 12. The food is fairly ordinary but has improved with outsourcing.
In MEL you will be able to walk through the Qantas Club into the Business Lounge. The food offered here is much better.
There is no Business lounge in ADL.
Hope you enjoy the flights!

Thanks for the welcome and info esseeeayeenn!

Cheers Steady, I'll actually be flying back out of Devonport after the ADL-HBA trip I mentioned, it will be my first time to NW Tasmania (first time out of Hobart really!), looking forward to it!
