Hi Everyone

I thought I'd say hello after lurking for some time.

I used to travel very often for work but luckily it is now only on the odd occasion. I used to be a Platinum FF with Qantas and enjoyed the benefits for 2 yrs before dropping back to silver.

Love this website and the tips other travellers post here!

Hi there, does look to be a while. Important not to rush into things I say.

Hi Everyone

I thought I'd say hello after lurking for some time.

Welcome

I used to travel very often for work but luckily it is now only on the odd occasion. I used to be a Platinum FF with Qantas and enjoyed the benefits for 2 yrs before dropping back to silver.

Love this website and the tips other travellers post here!

Once upon a time I was an Ansett Diamond. But these days I rarely do any work travel (plus have moved to being self-employed) and I have absolutely no status whatsover. Yet despite no longer having a very large work travel budget my international holiday flights for some years now have been only in the pointy end, are more numerous, and are further afield and all on reward points. This forum is a big reason as to why. Knowledge is king. I have earnt many, many more points per year now than back when I used access to a travel budget as I now know a lot, lot more. Importantly too I have learnt to redeem better. Better uran and burn, makes fora happy chappy :D

Like you I do not miss the work travel. Though yes for some years it was a buzz, but then it just became a chore.
