This is a fairly new hotel on the waterfront about 25 minute walk from the 1992 Olympic Village. However public transport is plentiful and easy to use so position should not put you off.
Upgraded to exec floor-top floor 23.Exec lounge is on 15.Although you get Mediterranean views you can see they are not great.
Recognition was good here and this is the welcome gift-
The exec. lounge was good whilst we were there but 2 weeks after we left it was reported on FT that their policy had changed dramatically.Drinks and food are now only 6pm-8.30pm rather than starting at midday and drinks going until 10pm.
Breakfast whilst we were there had a choice of 3 hot items but they have now been cut out.
Our biggest problem was that there is no free internet.Rate E24 a day ie now ~$A50.There are 2 computers in the exec lounge but they are not free and the same charges as in room.
Obviously whether it is worth staying here depends on the rate you are quoted. As I said I wouldnt let the position put you off.
