How many of the Hilton group are in Bali.

I see on the web a Conrad Bali and a Ayodya Hilton but the Hilton reservations only brings up Conrad. Are they both the same hotel?

I believe the Ayodya changed its name to Ayodya Resort (and spa?) when it left the Hilton chain, some time ago (pre 2008). It is sold by a lot of Bali discount package companies in WA.

The Conrad is currently the only Hilton hotel in Bali.

Thanks for the reply.

Also, if you are considering the Conrad, I have stayed both there and at the Laguna nusa dua (SPG) in the last 12 months. I have put reviews on tripadvisor (Cynicor) and am more than happy to tell you about either/both of the hotels.

What would be handy is a list of all Hilton properties world wide. I think I have seen one somewhere, I'll go in search

I have seen it also, but it's a pain to use.....broken down into hotel categories and far from user friendly.

Thanks for that. My better half has a conference to go to next year (yeah right, conference in Bali.......what a lurk) and since we're doing the Hilton status thing it'll be Hilton group barring some unforeseen glitch. I don't have SPG.

Well the Conrad Suites are worth it then, if your conference is in Nusa Dua. Location is important if you want to actually attend, as the traffic jams are amazing.

As a diamond, if you maintain status, you may get an upgrade to the Suites but it isn't guaranteed. You still get the lounge access which is nice, just not access to the private pool and unlimited laundry!

Funny you mention that. As we have kids in tow, a laundry is right up there on our list of "plusses". It's one of the big advantages of the HSP residences. Funny how one thing is important to some but not so critical to others :).

That doesn't have many of the hotels, unless it's my browser acting up.

Tokyo doesn't have any link, no Conrad nor Hilton there. Indonesia doesn't have Bali, only Bandung.

Is it just me?

No not just you. What a bummer. Maldive also does not show any hotels......there are three!

there is a hilton map, like a very slow google maps, that is at least up to date I think.

How odd that Hilton cannot even maintain a list of it's own hotels. I know their IT is the pits, but this is just sad. I could probably compile the definitive list in a day of googling. Maybe I'll apply for a job...

The US Version must use a different database" Hilton Hotels - Worldwide Hilton Hotel Locations
It's got a few extra hotels in it.

Sad or comical or perhaps both at the same time!

A quick look certainly sees a different list but still not complete. Bali still not there but at least Maldives now has one resort (maybe the other two succumbed to global warming overnight).

The other lists I've seen, were broken down into hotel categories and not easily navigated. To find hotels in a certain area you had to search each category individually IIRC.
