This has been around for some time, and the rates are a ~20% flexible off, but generally only for North American properties.

For Homewood Suites you need to consider: " Press Credentials are required at check-in. Individual sports traveler program. Travelers will have direct affiliation with professional sports clubs, collegiate athletic departments or amateur sports Associations." to use the rate. (i.e. They may ask for credentials)

However, for all other brands you need to be an HHonors Member (:p).

The rates are good, but there is more!

A [4 stay|9 Night] / 90 day fast track offer for Gold Status (complimentary breakfast and more) is available..

I believe it's a once only (per membership).

Hilton Family MVP

https://www.hiltonhhonors.com/landingpages/mvp.aspx

Member must complete four qualifying stays or nine qualifying nights (whichever comes sooner) within 90 days of your selected start date for the Fast Track offer. Offer available only for current members of the Hilton Family MVP program and is not transferable. Once you have selected your Start Date and enrolled in the MVP promotion, changes to the Start Date are allowed provided that the new date is not a date in the past and the original start date has not already passed. Full details of Gold VIP membership will be mailed to the member upon attaining the tier level. Offer may be terminated without notice. I just signed up for this, thanks!

I already had 4 stays booked prior to signing up... Will these count toward the fast track to Gold or do you need to book through the website that comes up after you join?

Sounds very tempting.

Wish I could find a reasonably priced Hilton in the places I am visiting in the next few months.

Any thoughts on how long this offer will be around for? This is just what I need, except that most travel to places with Hiltons will be later on in the year in Sept / October. I was offered fast track to diamond for 7 stays when they renewed my Silver HH, but I just cant do it by the June 31 deadline.

I actually signed up for this fast track program as I am staying in 4 different hotels during my USA trip in June. It might work it might not.

I found in the US that the prices for Hiltons came at a premium but not a huge premium over other hotel chains.

This would be nice if only I was staying at hotels in LOTFAP. I won't get that opportunity until later in the year (and then there is a possibility of fast tracking SPG Gold....)

Note the discounted rates are generally only availble in North America.

The Fast track relates to any Qualifying HHilton stay/night anywhere ....

Hmmm....the text on the landing page isn't awfully convincing in that manner, but otherwise what you're saying it's just another 4-stay-to-Gold fast track.

Which is attractive to me, but I've only got one stay coming up and nothing else for the next 3 months-ish. I guess I could try and sign up for it just before my next international travel (since it covers other Hilton Group properties, plenty of those in LOTFAP). Would be nice to have HHG again, for another year and a bit. (Yet I'm also requalifying for PC Plat..... and giving up HPC....)

Didn't you get SPG Gold late last year or earlier this year? I have it and can't use it.

Not so easy on the pocket though outside of the USA. I have a prepaid stay coming up in ADL, one night in SIN is SGD300+, one night in BKK (is that a song?) is AUD180+ and then another night in BKK is another AUD180+.

Only an extra ~AUD600 to get HHonors Gold for almost 2 years.

You must mean A|Club Gold, which I do have but I can't see happening to be used unless I stay at a decent priced Sofitel or Grand Mercure. The program itself is pretty much rubbish IMHO.

Barring that you could stay at cheaper, non-chain hotels, if four stays at Hilton cost you AUD 600 all up, that's already pretty good. Getting Gold on top of that is the cherry on the cake.

I was actually referring to SPG Gold. You were either already a member or did not take up the offer on AFF.

Not including the ~AUD240 prepaid for ADL Hilton.

Gold is only good if one is likely to make use of it in the next 20 months.

I called up Hilton HHonors and was assured that any Hilton stay qualifies for this promotion (specifically quoted the MVPF code).

Currently I have three stays (Hilton La Defense Paris, Trianon Palace Versailles and Conrad Singapore) and the CSR confirmed that these would be eligible for the promotion.

Now for that elusive fourth stay...

Anyone know if this is still running, i've got a stay on Sat night, a trip to BKK and a night in Melb at the airport on the way back, could easily do 4 stays but it won't let me register  ;)

That elusive fourth stay for HH GOLD ended up being at the Hilton Dresden in a nice room with slight views of the River Elber.

I believe so. See here.

Coathanger, did your four non-US property stays result in Gold?

Well i've managed to register, have a stay in Melb on Sat night, and will just break my BKK trip into two locations, the Hilton and the Conrad, then i'm at the Melb Airport Hilton on my way back so that should make my 4 in two months. Then... I have a week for my birthday at the Conrad in Bali next year, so Gold will be nice. Does anyone know if you have to make your bookings on the specific MVP login site or can you just use the normal Hilton site to make them? I hope the one this Sat will count as its a pre existing booking. :p

Just as an update, I signed up as per the link provided, stayed at 4 different Hilton properties over 9 nights while I was in the US and I ended up with Hilton Gold.

I just did all the bookings through the normal login at Hotels by Hilton - Hotel Reservations, Deals, and Room Rates, this same trip I did a few flights and ended up with Qantas Platinum which was more important, this was a nice side benefit of the trip.

Thanks for the starting the thread serfty. :D

I registered for this promo today...few points:
- you can choose the 90-day period (I chose 20 December)
- qualifying stays or qualifying nights...so bookings via third-party websites, for instance, do not count. This is what I was told when I called Hilton's toll-free number in Australia.

All good with the registration and my pre booked stay was confirmed by email to have started off my eligible stays, was about to book the Conrad Residences in Bangkok and the Hilton for my next 2 stays and they said the Residences do not attract HHonors points so do not count towards your required nights, so will stay at the Conrad which will, would have liked the extra space of the apartment but prefer to get qualifying stays :p
