Hilton on the Park Melbourne - what's the lounge like?

I've got to go to MEL next weekend and thought I'd give the Hilton on the Park a go (given I'm Diamond thanks to DJ and can give the Executive Lounge a go). Is lounge (and hotel for that matter) any good? I've never used a hotel lounge in Australia before so I don't know what to expect really. Complimentary Bar? All day or just in the evening. Sadly... booze is the deciding factor for most travel related things

It is a nice lounge on a high floor, the alcohol starts at 6.30 or 7.00 pm can't remember which. Soft drink available before hand. Enjoy it is a nice hotel.

And there is the reason I don't drink, can't even tell the time when I am sober.

I quite like it there, the resaurant is quite nice too

I was there end of month, upgraded to ex. floor (gold). in lounge one evening a great chicken dish, very tasty. excellent hostess in evening, think her name was alana, kept the wine coming. hotel room large and very comfy. courtesy bus to take one to r.r. station to get the a/port bus (think it was spencer st).
only abt. 5 min. walk to city and lovely gardens near hotel. hotel also has dedicated taxi driver to a/port.

Until 8.30pm, from memory. Also, complimentary full buffet breakfast option in the dining room, unless you only need the Executive Lounge breakfast.
