Hilton status timing

It's been a while since I've bee concerned with Hilton status. Is it still the case that if you attain, say diamond after 1st April you get diamond for the remainder of that year, all of the next year and until the end of March the following year? Ie, April 1 maximises your status time?

Yes, so 24 months worth of status. Anytime early in the year is best unless you are waiting for your current status too drop.
