I used to shoot for Hilton Worldwide Group, and I amassed a huge collection of them. Think at one stage, myself and two colleagues had an assortment of ducks, teddy bears, elephants and a truckload of other stuff in our bags, which brought a few smiles to the checkin staff when I had to open a couple of bags that contained photo equipment (I'd stuffed the toys in randomly). (That goat looks like one of the CX toys I picked up earlier this year too.)

I like the ones that had some connection to the area or culture; Conrad Miami from memory had a small Manatee - think they sponsored them as an endangered species?

My nieces also have a large collection - these days I still grab them, they enjoy getting a gift from some far flung place and I actually don't mind having them around to remind me of loooongs days, and finally enjoying a cold beer and a fine cigar at the end of the shoot.

Hmm I grabbed the Xmas Conrad bear from SIN for my niece ... I have grabbed the turtle which I think may be from Conrad Bali? The others I leave.

I've got a Conrad bear and a couple of ducks.

We've got two. I thought it was only Conrad that gave them....a whale and an octopus. Also a limited edition lion from IC Singapore. A bit of a waste really. Does anyone over 10 really care about a little stuffed toy? Oops......I retract that comment, I'd momentarily forgot that I was posting to the AFF where odd is a religion! ;)

FWIW, the IC lion is heaps better than the Conrad offerings.

We could have "tussle of the toys" competition.

But to really throw down the gauntlet, can you match this monogrammed trump card?

Got a few of the ducks and the plastic elephant.

Have never come across the cloth variety.

In a couple of trips (24 nts) to the BKK Millenium Hilton we've collected 5 large cloth erawan, 4 small cloth erawan and one yellow plastic duck.

I only have a small collection. But I do like giving them away when I get home which doesn't help the collection grow much.

Oh yeah, I forgot about the gold Macao bear. I took that one because we had a new kitten in the family who was chewing everything in site. He's seen better days now ... (the bear, not that cat!).
