New to the points game!

I'm chipping away at the Amex Westpac platinum bundle right now. Wishing I could sign up to better offers like the Amex explorer but my income doesn't let me do so :(. My salary won't be high enough for another 2+ years so crying a bit! I wish they would accept household income.

Even without the big offer of bonus points the AMEX Platinum Edge could have been a useful card but its points earning is being devalued as well shortly... But don't worry, welcome and you'll get there... :)

Awesome, thank you! I was considering using this card after I've exhausted the sign-up bonuses.

I think my next cards are:
  • Qantas Premier Platinum Credit Card
    • 70,000 bonus Qantas Points
    • Annual fee: $149 first year, $299 after
    • Spend required: $3,500 in 90 days
    • Offer expires: 28 February 2019
  • Virgin Australia Velocity Flyer Credit Card
    • 60,000 bonus Velocity Points
    • Annual fee: $64 for first year, then $129
    • Spend required: $1,500 each month for first 3 months [20,000 bonus points each month]
    • Offer expires: 31 January 2019
  • ANZ Rewards Travel Adventures Visa
    • 80,000 bonus Velocity Points
    • Annual fee: $225 fee
    • Spend required: $1,500 in 3 months
    • Ends 28 February 2019
My income is 60k before tax + incl. super. Most likely cancelling these cards before 2nd year.
