Hi guys

For all of us in Hobart, there is usually a significant cost of getting our domestic connections, in the order of $300 - $400 extra if we don't snag sale fares that suit.

I have just booked an April flight for $925 return HBA-SYD-HKG which is pretty cheap. Basically the domestic fares HBA-SYD were close to free.

Other fares down to $825 including booking fee are available for dates May thru August. Looking on travel.com.au as you cannot use virgin website for search HBA-HKG.

Travel class is O, which gets about 80 Status credits and a few thousand points I suppose

I think Chuq is considering it, after his posting in the best fare forum. Hope this helps other Tassie forum members, or maybe other domestic connections if it works for you.

Cheers
