My wife and I depart next week on trip to HK flying codeshare VA on SQ in Y on full flexi fares.
I am Gold VFF so we get lounge access, priority check in, priority boarding etc are any other benefits I should know about? ( I know I can't pre book seats which is a pain)

While in HK we are booked at the Icon Hotel and are both keen to find "local" dining experiences and places to visit rather than the typical tourist sites. Any feedback from those that have recently visited Hong Kong would be greatly appreciated. I haven't been there since 1989 !

Cheers
Dave.

This is not the SilverKris lounge at SIN then? I had a shower there last week.. Do Velocity gold members get a different lounge?

Yes, you will only get access as a VA Gold or Plat travelling in Y to the Krisflyer Gold Lounge in Singapore which as per earlier post does not have toilets or showers within it. Mind you, it still beats schlepping about in the terminal!

Yes, they get KrisFlyer Gold access in SIN. Dont you love the gaps in the shower doors?

We have KrisFlyer Gold access in Singapore and SliverKris access in Hong Kong. I haven't read anything really positive about either of these lounges :-(
Cheers
Dave.

I did notice they were abnormally large!

Wasn't much impressed with the lounge though, was expecting it to be larger.
