I was unsure where to post this not airline query but it is serious to me.

Hotmail is one of my email providers. For the past couple of yrs. I've been getting emails alledgedly from live hotmail or whatever it is called asking for my user name; password; dob; country. Messages keep coming back if I don't my act. will be closed.

I've just rec'd a final warning.

I want to keep the act. but will not give out the above personal information. I've tried to reply to sent email and explain why I won't but unsure if email doesn't get to sender.

Wondering what the it people on this forum think?
cheers

I think it is a scam. Hotmail does not need your PW to access your account if they really want to!

THere are some phishing scams with Hotmail accounts, and it sounds like you are the target of one of those.

Accounts are generally only deactivated after 8 months of non-use.
