Hi All,

I am flying over to Europe on QF1 via Singapore in early December and I am considering flying back on QF2 on Christmas Day

Does anyone have any insight into how busy these flights will be in Y?

Currently, the seat availability on both flights is looking pretty atrocious. After my flight on QF1 I will be upgraded to silver, would it be best not to choose my seats for the return leg until I am upgraded?

Any advice would be much appreciated!

You are seeing the available seats currently available for your level of status.

The seat map may open up around 80 hours before the flight depending on how busy it is/how many pax of status on. PS will let you see a bit more in terms of available seats.

A member on here with high status and EF may be able to let you know what the seat map looks like, but that doesn’t give you any real info as it is too early to see how busy the flight is.

While not exactly load, here are what QFA has open for sale:

QF2 25/12 8:55pm departure

josh, select whatever is best seat for you now - you can always change that as seats become available or your status gets upgraded - seat selection is not a "once off" thing :)

At the moment, it's about two thirds full, across all classes.

Historically, Christmas Day is pretty quiet.
