it was direct with Hilton, can't find it on HC/FHR to compare.
I think i'd be ok with paying for the kids, 2 adults works out at ~$75 per day $300 over 4 days. I've had cash back on hotel stays reject before (Accor with Cash rewards) so it's probably worth the benefit.
