How long before Hhonours points are posted?

After my recent stay at HOP, I am keen to see how many points I earned. I booked out late last week and thought the the points would be added instantaneously. (My QFF points were registered by the time I got home from the airport.)
What is the normal timeframe for points to be credited to one's account?

Generally with most Hilton properties they post in 2 to 4 working days, occasionally faster, sometimes a week or so.

If they haven't posted after two weeks they've never posted without follow up prompting from me.
 
Points for my Sydney Hilton stay (checked out 20th April) posted yesterday. Points for HSW (check out 22 April) posted today. This is pretty consistent with all of my stays.
 
Does it mean anything if the stay is listed in my stays section, but not in the hhonors activity? I see i can claim a missing stay, but the stay isn't missing just the points from the stay. :confused:

I've encountered inconsistencies like that where certain parts of the site seem to update at different times, but always found they resolve within a day or two (not saying yours necessarily will). Never had to chase points.

I agree with the others, normally a couple of days, but if you're keen to see your points earned, usually a very non-descript total is shown at the bottom of your invoice the hotel gives you.

I had a stay (a genuine points/stay/night earning stay) where the hotel stuffed up. We were offered a very generous reward due to the stuff up but the hotel then altered the stay to a non-earning code (probably to offset our bonus offered). Because this occured during my need to do the 4 stays in 6 months bit to get the 12 month status, I rang the diamond desk and they agreed that it should earn and they altered the hotel code entered. Watch for a week or so and if not give the diamond desk a call (You don't say in your avatar but I assume you do have diamond with the DJ status match).

Unfortunately, I'm not diamond due to a miscalculation on my part. I'm totally new to this hotel stuff. I think it would be an earning stay. It was 2 rooms with breakfast included. The second room half price for the kids, but first room full price. I assume that would earn for at least one room. As it's been a couple of weeks I'll try the online form. Cheers for the help.

have had the same experience, but always 'fixed' after a quick email.
 
Seems I'm heading for my first even non-posting. Hilton Sydney, 15th-16th July, stay hasn't posted, neither have points, nor have they refunded me my Hilton Macquarie discount or sent me a tax invoice (they couldn't issue me one as it had a credit on my account at the end of the stay).
