I've recently renewed my kris flyer credit card and am waiting for 93000 points to transfer over to my krisflyer member account. When I used to use this card back in 2010, the points would transfer from my west pac credit card to my krisflyer membership a few days after the bank statement is sent. However currently my statement ended on the 10th of January and it's been over 2 weeks and it has not shown up online when i log into my krisflyer account. I've called westpac platinum card services to make sure they had my krisflyer membership number and to double check that is was correct. Everything had been confirmed to be correct. Now they said they have sent the information through to krisflyer back on the 10th as it was automated, and it is up to krisflyer to update the points. Does anyone know the turnaround time for points to be show up?

In my experience my KF miles appear on the SQ website the same day as my Westpac statement appears on westpac.com.au.

Consider a call to SQ, check your account numbers and that your KF account is still active if you have had a period of no activity.

Check that Westpac have the right numbers.

Yes we have 2 of these and there has been no delay even though we use Citi Select a whole heap more for our Kris flyer points.

Okay, so I gave krisflyer a call after reading all your posts about points being credited pretty much as soon as the statement is issued. The reason for my delay is that since i had just re-signed up again for the credit card, they have a 10,000 bonus points promotion after the first spend. Because of this promotion, it will take 6-8weeks for my first statement worth of points to be credited. Which is a shame because I had wanted to use the points for a flight around valentine's day :(

Yes that re-signed and resigned thingy is what seems to be the issue here. Churning cards is a bit of an art but we don't do it.
FT has pages of entries covering churning and it has come to AFF. 2012 is a year where cash is king so I don't intend playing my Bank.
Currently our big 4 banks are scrambling to fund their balance sheets and it has not been going too well cost wise in 2012.
It has been a long time since our banks have said no deal but now retail customers might start seeing this.
