So news.com.au has posted another "gem" Getting into holiday mode take four days and eight hours | News.com.au
They are claiming it take 4 days before the "average" person can truly start relaxing on holiday.
As someone who likes to take a lot of short breaks, and with limited exception does not like to be in any one place for very long on holiday, I find I can start into holiday mode from the moment I leave work at 5pm the day before leaving. (Often I find holiday mode kicks in from lunchtime the day before)
So can you switch off and go into holiday mode from the moment you arrive? Or does it take you nearly a week before you feel you can start relaxing?
