Hi,

Just flew an AA flight and had it credited to my QFF program
and it should put me over the top for a free flight home!

But how long before it shows up in www.qantas.com?

Often it can be anywhere from more or less immediatly to a couple of weeks.
Generally i have found other OW carriers the points post in a week or 2, but it could always be longer.

JL posting to AA for me took about 2 weeks recently.
BA to QF about 3 or 4 days recently
CX to QF about 3 or 4 days as well.

Did some AA flights recently.

All flights posted to Qantas FF 4 days after being flown.

I believe the posting is done in weekly batches. So can be anything from under a day to a week.

I did some (6) recently too. All posted 3 or 4 days after being flown.

June last year events for me:
Code:
Flight	From/To Posted

10JUN06 DALLAS/SEATTLE 13 JUN 06
09JUN06 LOS ANGELES/DALLAS 13 JUN 06
12JUN06 SEATTLE/DALLAS 15 JUN 06
12JUN06 DALLAS/ANCHORAGE 15 JUN 06
14JUN06 ANCHORAGE/DALLAS 17 JUN 06
15JUN06 DALLAS/NEW YORK (JFK) 19 JUN 06
15JUN06 NEW YORK (JFK)/HONG KONG 20 JUN 06
        (Codeshare on CX)
So between 3 & 5 days in my cases.

Days for me. You can call the centre to ask them what is happening with the claim. If you claim for a flight that does not actually earn points (e.g. CX codeshare with Vietnam Airlines, not to be too specific about it) you won't be credited and you won't be told you won't be credited, so unless you call, you'll be in the dark (unless, of course, you have memorised the terms and conditions of QFF).
