How long for AMEX to velocity transfer?

Initiated a transfer from Amex to velocity on Wednesday evening points not in yet. Does it normally take this long?

Was a first time transfer to velocity if it makes a difference.

From American Express to Krisflyer or from Velocity to Krisflyer?

It has been a while since I have transferred directly from AMEX to Krisflyer, from memory it was around 5 days.
From Velocity to Krisflyer, it is instantaneous.
