HI GUYS

I'm looking at flying SYD to VLI return. It earns 120 SC. I can book on classic awards or JASA ( business), the difference is 244,000 points = approx 2,000 points to get 1 SC. Seems a bad rate to me. What do people think ? What would you do ? Thanks

Not a particularly good rate and remember you get no SC for a classic reward.

I would divide by 10 - so 2,000 points to get 1 SC. Still not great when you can get 100 SC for 16,000 points (plus cash), but not nearly as bad the situation described above. :)

JASAs are a waste of points on codes ares such as this as they are never good value. A net cost of 19K will get you 140 SC as the best earning domestic JASA.

Thanks Guys, how do you get 140SC for 19,000 points ??

This is becoming more of a science than a game the more I look into it and most of you guys must have PHD's !!!!

Maybe we could petition the Government for a subsidy and get a recognised degree in it at a Uni ?? You can get one in nearly anything else !!

PHD (FFP) ??
