Equally, there's nothing in the rules that say there is no reprice. That's the problem.


It's long been accepted that there's no reprice after the first flight and there's also a valid argument to be made that you can make changes prior to the first flight, without repricing, provided the date of the first coupon is not changed. Again, though, the problem is the absence of language similar to "If the fare level has increased since ticket issuance the difference between the old and new fare will also be charged", but in reverse. That's what QF seems to be relying on.


Chan1108, I think a bigger part of the problem is Qantas no longer files ex-Egypt xONEx fares, meaning it can't even reprice it. I've had an ex-CAI DONE5 queued with QF since the pound's revaluation in March. It shows "Confirmed" against all the flights in my QF profile and has done for the past four months. Qantas just never ticketed it. Now I get 'Your flight has changed' emails, but Qantas is clueless about what to do with the booking when I call.
