Why Hello,

12 months ago I took a JASA to Sydney, and life kind of fell apart then... By the end of the year I was taking flights on my 4 days off (love my shift pattern) to get the last few SC needed to maintain PS! Oh the lofty heights!!! A QP membership was scored on a good deal, in the thought a few lazy flights here and there will make it worth while (Although I am sure the cost recovery has already happened... hic!)

12 months later, PS confirmed for the next 12 months, and my first set of leave is approaching next week. So... Flying PER-SYD-LAX in J, followed by a few weeks later a PER-MEL-DXB return (to stay on QF metal, and another A380 trip!), and SG will me mine! And then, well it isn't that far to WP in all reality... perhaps this year is the one!

So hello. Bonus points to anyone who deciphers the name. I may not fly as often as you all, but I will give it a nudge from time to time! Have always loved airports, probably the stories and people watching, and love the flight itself. Happy to look at the flight as being PART of the holiday, not merely transport to it.

Love it! In the last 6 months I fell into the trap you did 12 mths ago and now cant stop. Did VA Silver in 2 months, gold already on the books for just after xmas (i am currently delaying the upgrade till after jan, because I dont want my review date on xmas/ny) and can see platinum by 2015 at this rate. Look forward to reading about you J trip in LAX - hope you blog.
