I tried earlier and it couldn't find my address. It was down when I went back to try it again.

Might give them a couple weeks to sort it out/let the demand die down a little.

It couldn't find my address either. Then later it had crashed.

Reading the T&Cs getcreditscore requests your score from Veda, and is limited to one request every 12 months.

Just don't see the difference versus going to Veda directly.

(Oh and there website uses Silverlight - very rare)

Is working tonight
Got my score - just average - oh dear!
Better cancel 3 or 4 of my 12 cards

Gave me an error, but then I don't think I'd have a score?

Did you tick all three options? I didn't tick the middle option (relating to them contacting me) the first couple of times and it came up with an error, but when I ticked all three, it worked!

While I understand that you can get a copy of your credit report, does this extend to getting your credit score?

My understanding is that it does not. It gives you details, but no score - this gives you a score, but nothing else.

I did. Was using my iPhone though at the time... perhaps if it really does rely heavily on Silverlight, this could have affected the result.

Duffa I got a high good score so I guess I get marked down for having about $700,000 of credit card limits in Australia even though I pay them to zero each month. In the US I am 790 out of a possible 830 but I only have one store credit card and 2 Bank credit cards.
I guess I should dump cards that don't pay good points on ATO but then I think why bother.

Does asking for a score actually cause your score to increase as it is a credit check? Is it one check a year free for this service?

Mrscove is in the top end of good and she thought she probably would not exist. Now I had another attempt to get her Woolies EDR credit card working but after 4 years I think it is jinxed despite her going in for ID checks that they lose. Having a card that does not work is just a tad frustrating.

I didn't' tick the middle option, and I still got my score.

I got a "very good" :)

Interestingly, it throws back a "You've already checked your credit score in the last 12 months" message, which is certainly something I've not done.

I've applied for a new credit card in the last week, so not sure if that's responsible (not that it should be).

Just to confirm - I did try the website just now, living in the same address for 10yrs, no name changes, a few credit cards and a decent home loan etc - but according to them I don't exist.

So either I don't have a credit history - or this website is cough and can't recover the information requested.

Edited to add: Tried ticking and unticking the different options but does not change result. Looks like you have to clear cookies after the first failure as it retains your failed attempt and prevents you retrying. Very amateurish.
