IC Double Bay - Royal Suite

There doesn't seem to be any posts about either the Double Bay IC, or their Royal Suite … ( in the last five years or so ).

I've changed a booking from Royal Opera Suite at Sydney IC, to the Royal Suite at Double Bay ... and will have some $700. left over !! ( apparently, when it first opened, the cost was $5,500. per night !! I've got it for less than half that … ).

You can still use a Ambassador Weekend Cert. for the second weekend night.

It looks to be a larger floor plan than the Sydney Royal Opera Suite, and the Double Bay suite has FOUR accessible balconies !!

Looking forward to a combined 60th. for me & 18th. birthday party with my eldest daughter.

Anybody stayed in this suite before ?

Four weeks to go, and it looks like my guest list must be no more than ten ....

Shame. I was hoping to have double that each night.

The way things are going you may be locked down at home. I had a suite booked here this weekend and have had to scramble over the past couple of days to cancel everything. After the news last night re the borders closure this Saturday night i'm glad i did

I'll be phoning them a week before the weekend of booking.

But DB stayed open during first lockdown. I stayed there on AMB Cert. in April.
